Why our prices are sructured the way they are

In order to survive as a Podiatry Clinic we need to be honest and realistic about our pricing.

Before a patient even enters the clinic there are a number of costs that need to be satisfied.

This includes having a fully functioning clinic in the first place, getting the podiatrist there, ensuring the clinic is clean and all instruments for use on patients are sterile. Then there’s the cost of the website, insurances and yearly fees to the relevant professional bodies such as the Royal College of Podiatry.
The appointment has been booked and recorded correctly and the podiatrist is appraised of the patients medical history and past treatments (held on a secure IT system) so that your time as a patient is best spent treating you within your appointment window.

£20.39

This is what it costs the clinic before you arrive as a patient.

This is before any treatment involved in your appointment and does not include the cost of the podiatrist.

This is also what it costs the clinic when a patient does not arrive or cancels at the last minute.

4+ Years

This is how long it takes at university to study and qualify as a registered podiatrist, then gathering the necessary clinical experience to practice in the profession.

So, you’ve arrived for your appointment and now we need to pay the podiatrist to treat you and pay for any creams and medical consumables used throughout your appointment.

To enable us to continue to provide the services we do then we must restructure our pricing to make the clinic and the business viable.

We have had to look at some difficult choices, close the business, reduce the appointment durations or increasing the prices so that we can continue to provide the high level of care that you have become used to and that you rightly deserve as a patient in a private clinic.
